There is no perfect stack, only one that lets you ship fast without creating debt. For Ahsen-Studio projects that pair is React + Supabase, and the reasons are concrete.
React offers a component model that scales from a single page to a full dashboard without rewrites. Add TypeScript and bugs are caught before users meet them: a wrong type is a compile-time error, not a client complaint.
A backend with no maintenance
Supabase handles authentication, a Postgres database, storage and real-time updates without anyone administering a server. That means faster delivery, lower costs and a product that stays reliable as it grows.
What it means in practice
- One point of contact instead of three suppliers (frontend, backend, hosting)
- Sign in by email or magic link, no passwords stored in the clear
- Data stays in Europe and can be exported at any time
- Gradual growth: start small and add power only when needed
What about SEO?
For sites that must rank, content stays static HTML generated ahead of time: React powers the places with real interaction (client portal, private areas) while public pages are fast by construction.
When we do not use it
For a brochure site or a blog, React is overkill: plain HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript are enough, as this very site shows. The right technology is the one you need, not the trendy one.
